To update your ZeBuds' Firmware, first download the MyKronoz App.
Open the MyKronoz App and sign up (if it is your first time) or log in with your account, then tap on the settings icon on the top right corner of the app and select "Paired Devices". Click on the big + on the bottom of the page and select ZeBuds in the list of device. Follow the instructions on the screen to pair your ZeBuds to the MyKronoz App.
Please make sure you ZeBuds are well charged, out of the charging case and in Bluetooth range.
Depending on your the model of your smartphone and ZeBuds, different manipulations will be necessary.
For Android users
If un update is available, you will see an orange button next to ZeBuds under the "paired devices" section or a big red banner on the main screen of the app. Simply click on the update button or banner and follow the instructions on the screen.
The update will take a few minutes and will update one ZeBud at a time. Once the update has been successfully installed, the MyKronoz App will prompt you to pair your ZeBuds once more.
For iOS users
If you own new generation ZeBuds (Lite, Premium or Pro), you will have to connect your ZeBuds via the Bluetooth settings of your iPhone. For this go to Settings >Bluetooth and tap on ZeBuds to connect them. Once connected, go back to the MyKronoz App and you will see that ZeBuds are paired. Simply click on the update button and follow the instruction on the screen.
The update will take a few minutes and will update one ZeBud at a time. Once the update is successful, the MyKronoz App will prompt you to pair your ZeBuds once more.
If you own ZeBuds (no model specified after ZeBuds), You will have to download the ZeBuds MAC Tool on your Mac. Follow the instructions on the software to update your ZeBuds to the latest firmware. Once updated, disconnect/forget your ZeBuds from your Mac. Then, connect your ZeBuds via the Bluetooth settings of your iPhone. For this go in Settings >Bluetooth and tap on ZeBuds to connect them. Once connected, go back to the MyKronoz App and you will see thatZeBuds are paired.
You will no longer need the ZeBuds MAC Tool, you will be able to do all future updates directly via the MyKronoz app.
Note: Alternatively, if you do not wish to or cannot download the ZeBuds MAC Tool, you can borrow an Android smartphone to update your ZeBuds for the first time, then switch back to your iPhone.
The update will improve and add new features to your ZeBuds. Features may vary if you use an Android or iOS phone.
